While a lot of our events focus on Survival Games, we offer a diverse range of games to cater to different preferences and play styles. From classic PvP games to strategic parkour & puzzle challenges, there is something for everyone. We'll continuously expand our selection of modes to keep the competition fresh and exciting.
Tournament Types
Majors
Our majors are highly anticipated events where players compete for a championship title and enticing rewards. Each major will be announced well in advance and feature rulesets & scoring standard to District 14. Whether you prefer solo battles or working as part of a group, we offer both individual and team-based majors to cater to various gameplay preferences.
Skirmishes
Skirmishes are a more casual and dynamic experience. These impromptu, fast-paced matches offer players an opportunity to engage in quick competition without the pressures of a major. Skirmishes often feature unique gamemodes and rulesets, providing a refreshing twist on traditional gameplay.
Leagues
Leagues will be long-term events featuring standings, brackets, and valuable prizes. Coming soon!

Formats: Each event will have a defined format, which may include specific gamemodes, team sizes, or rulesets. Participants must familiarize themselves with the format and adhere to it throughout the competition. In some cases, certain tournaments may utilize eligibility requirements (i.e. skill level) to ensure a fair and balanced gameplay experience for all.

Specific Rules & Formats
Player & Team Requirements
Players or team members must use the account they sign up with.
In the event a teammate is not able to attend the match, teams may elect to use a substitute. If neither is available, teams may opt to play solo/a man down.
During team tournaments, all players must be in the proper VCs with only their teammates unless stated otherwise. In addition, some solo tournaments will enforce all players to be in one VC, but remain deafened.
Rosters will typically be locked 1 hour before the scheduled match time.
Tournament Scoring
Unless a tournament is using a win-based or bracket system, all tournaments will be scored based on the following system:
You must play on a Minecraft version that is 1.12 or lower to prevent faster swimming.
Approved Clients are: Lunar, BLC, Lounge, Cheatbreaker, LabyMod (no forge)
The Forge Modification NoHitDelay/HitDelayFix is not allowed.
Macros and firekeying are not allowed.
No glitch abusing. For the most part, no camping in high places.
No ghosting in public chat. You may only do so for your teammate(s) in VC.
No cross teaming in solo tournaments. This will be heavily enforced. In teams events, cross teaming is prohibited UNLESS at the end of the game, there are two solos facing off against a full team- the solos may then temporarily team. This rule applies/will be altered for events featuring TO3 or more.
Additionally, in a tournament where there is a grace period, stalking/following a person is also not allowed.
Killing yourself in game with means to not allow the other player/team to get points or loot is not allowed and will be punished accordingly.
Screensharing/Punishments
If a player or a team has gained an unfair advantage due to the violation of any gameplay rule, that player or players involved will be removed from that game and lose all points earned from that game.
If a player or a team has gained an unfair advantage due to hacking, the member that was caught will be blacklisted and punishments may extend to the teammates. Depending on how blatant the hacker is, they may be instantly removed without a need to screenshare.
By participating in District 14 tournaments, you consent to be screenshared at any time by a Referee and/or Board Member.
If you are caught cheating you will be blacklisted and the leaderboard points for that game will update accordingly for the other players.
Blacklists will typically be determined on a case-by-case basis and could last a certain amount of tournaments or time.
Disconnect
During a tournament, all players must remain in the PG (Private Game). Lobbies are frozen unless otherwise specified.
If any player is found to have disconnected from the PG, and hasn’t returned within 3 minutes without notifying staff, then that player will either be disqualified and/or subject to a screenshare for leaving without permission.
In the event that a player times out during a game, the participant that disconnected must immediately take a screenshot/picture of their entire screen. This should include the system date and time of your screen. They will then have 5 minutes to message a Referee or other staff members with the evidence.
If the evidence is deemed valid, the player will be allowed to resume playing starting the next game. If deemed invalid, that player will be disqualified.
Barring special cases, matches won’t be restarted to accommodate a disconnect.
